Cheer Sizing Instructions

Please use the following guidelines in determining what size uniform to order. Please note that 1 piece styles run small; they are sized for a snug fit, so order up one size if you would like a normal fit. 2 piece styles are sized for a normal fit.

How to measure:
A. Waist:
 Measure around the body at the natural waistline.
B. Bust/chest:
 With arms raised to make a "T", measure around the fullest part of the chest.
C. Hips:
 Measure around the body at the fullest part of the hips.
D. Height:
 Measure standing against a wall without shoes.
E. Back length:
 Measure from the most prominent bone at the base of the neck to the natural waistline.


Other helpful guidelines:

If ordering for a group, have the same person measure all girls.

Have the girls wear undergarments similar to what will be worn under the uniform.

Use a fabric tape measure and hold it snugly and firmly (but not tightly) against the body.


Use the following rules when measurements are not standard:

If chest measurement is close, but waist and/or hips are smaller, size by the chest and alter the waist.

If chest measurement is close, but waist and/or hips are larger, size by the hips and alter the chest and/or waist.
